Glen daMota

Mr. daMota has 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. He has developed, financed and constructed a full range of real estate products ranging from Commercial (office-office warehouse), medical, retail, multi-family housing and residential. Prior to Co-Founding GlenBrook Capital Advisors Mr. daMota created and managed the Commercial and Finance Divisions for Snell Real Estate, Cabo San Lucas Mexico. While at Snell Mr. daMota was responsible for bringing $300 million in commercial listings and over $600 million in financings.

Mr. daMota has an extensive entrepreneurial background, He was a Director and Partner with Wilhelmina International, New York (integrated agency representing models, media and entertainment stars), Director Fairmount Chemical FMTC (Newark, NJ), Partner Riber Sports Marketing (Cincinnati, OH),  General Partner, Argus Development (Minneapolis, MN),  Managing Partner, daMota Industries (Newtown, CT),  Partner, Curve Crest Properties (Stillwater, MN), Principal Metro Real Estate Services (St. Paul, MN), Principle D & E Investments (Eden Prairie, MN),  Managing Member daMota Family Trust,  Board Member, New York Law Enforcement Foundation (NYLEF), Member of the 1980 U.S. National Hockey Team. Mr daMota is a  Graduate of Northern Michigan University (BA in History and Business Administration).

Trent D. Brooks

Mr. Brooks began his career in commercial real estate finance in 1983. He served at Bankers Mutual for 16 years in various capacities including as President and a principal Shareholder. He also founded Sierra Capital Partners, a highly respected mortgage banking platform that merged with CW Capital in 2009. Mr. Brooks subsequently served on the Bellwether Enterprise executive management team and later as President of RED Mortgage Capital, a subsidiary of Orix USA.

He received his Economics degree from Wittenberg University, is a graduate of the Stagen Leadership Academy and currently serves on the University of San Diego, Burnham-Moores Center Real Estate Committee. A Michigan native, Mr. Brooks has lived in California since 1984 where he enjoys fly fishing, golf and alpine skiing. Residing in San Diego, Mr. Brooks is married with five children and seven grandchildren.

Alan Pleskow

Alan has over 25 years of experience as a lawyer and business advisor to global financial institutions and private equity funds. From 1987 to 1999, Alan was as a partner in the New York City office of Sullivan & Worcester where he led the firm’s real estate finance practice. Thereafter, Alan joined Greenberg Traurig (working out of its New York City and South Florida offices) as a principal shareholder, member of the intake committee and member of the real estate practice leadership committee. Alan has advised clients in transactions exceeding $10 billion in the aggregate. Alan’s clients included Merrill Lynch, AIG, Credit Suisse, Bank of Scotland, Blackstone, Lehman Brothers, Perella Weinberg, Fir Tree Partners, Svenska Handelsbanken and ING. Alan also has over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur. Alan co-founded, and served as President of, PKMI, Inc., a company that manufactured and marketed medical devices. Alan is also the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Zavee, LLC, a technology-enabled marketing company. Alan received his B.A. (cum laude) and J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Alan spent 17 years living and working in New York City and he currently resides in South Florida.
